The app is definitely useful. I checked the full features on a trial basis and my only complaint is that the offerings are not worth a subscription fee of 5 EUR/month. Firstly, the flashcards are showing the same set of 12 words over and over again. Idk if this is a bug. Furthermore, considering that the content is AI generated summaries of news articles, translated using AI tools, the app seems to be a very low-effort offering. For what it offers, I think it's worth 1-2 EUR/month, but not 5.

Toll! It's one of the best, most comprehensive, and easiest German language learning apps I've found. From basic beginners (A1) to fluent speakers (C1), there's something for everyone who wants to learn and/or improve speaking, understanding, & writing German. Learn by reading and listening to short articles & stories, which are written specially for each level of fluency, and also using helpful tools such as quizzes, flash cards, a grammar section, and more. Lots of free content. Interactive.

This app is really cool. I'm in the early stages of learning German and the A1 articles are perfect. I wish the dictionary was a little more contextually aware of phrases (instead of only the literal translations of words) but that's just a minor improvement. I'd also like to be able to see the full English translation, or at least copy words/sentences so I can translate them in full. Overall this is a great app.
